MOTORIST CHARGED AFTER ACCIDENT

Arising out of an accident in which a cyclist, Iris Annie Berry, aged 22. was killed through being struck by a motorcar, a Maori, Mark Ncpia. aged 49, was charged this morning witli intoxication in qliarge of a car, negligently driving a car thereby causing death, failing to stop after an accident, and driving without a licence. The accused was remanded on bail, fixed at. £4OO.
