Miss Judith Ffitch, Khandallah. Wellington,, is visiting Mrs. H. Ffitch, Fendalton, Christchurch. 1 Miss R. Stephenson, Havelock North, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. W. J. A. McGregor, Mt. Linton, Southland, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. A. Tennent, Hataitai. She will later visit her daughter, Mrs. S. J. H. SawelL Lower Hutt Mrs. and Miss Roach, Miramar, Wellington, are staying with Mr. and Mrs. T. Roach, Otane, Hawke’s Bay. Mrs. S. P. Spiller, Napier, is visiting Wellington. Miss Vida Manning, Christchurch, is the guest of Lady Shirtcliffe in Wellington, after having spent a holiday in Auckland.
Mrs. A. Pepper is a Hawera visitor to Wellington. Miss D. V. Smith, Pungarehu, Taranaki, is on a brief visit to Wellington. She will return at the weekend. Among those who accompanied their husbands to Wellington for the National Dairy Association Conference are Mrs. J. A. Stevenson, Pihama, Opunake, Taranaki; Mrs. J. S. Tosland, Pihama; Mrs.. J. Young, Oaonui, Taranaki; Mrs. Morgan, Westmere, Wanganui; and Mrs. A. Goldsbury, Wanganui. The Hom J. A. Hanan and Mrs. Hanan have taken up residence at Caulfield House for the duration of the Parliamentary session. Going Abroad Mrs. C. W. Rattray, Dunedin, who left Lyttelton this week for Panama to -meet her son-in-law and daughter, Commander and Mrs. D. G. Bush, Parnassus, Canterbury, will return to New Zealand with them on the Arawa. Mrs. Rattray is accompanied by her son, Mr. Neil Rattray, Waimate.
Misses Joan and Cora Ann. Bull, Napier, left Auckland yesterday by the Makura for a month’s cruise of the Pacific islands.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bridge, Marton, are visitiug Mr. Bridge’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bridge, Christchurch.
Mrs. W. O.' Urquhart, Northland, Wellington, will leave Auckland on Monday by the Awatea for a holiday in Australia and will be the guest of Mrs. F. Evans, Edgecliffe, Sydney.
