Australian Romance Of Former Governor's Son

The Earl of Ranfurly, whose father was at one time Govenfor-General of New Zealand, was married recently at St. George's Church, Hanover Square, London, to Miss Hermione Llewellyn, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Llewellyn, Devon. The bride was formerly private secretary to Lady Wakehurst in Sydney, and it was there that she met her husband, who was A.D.C. to the Governor-General of Australia, Lord Gowrle.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of silver and white brocade, cut on lines of classical simplicity, with a square neckline and long, tight sleeves. The train was cut in one with the slim skirt. She carried ‘a sheaf of lilies. Her veil of rare old Brussels lace had Jieeij worn by the brides of former Earls of Raiifurly.

Eight bridesmaids were in attendance. Misses Cynthia and Daphne Llewellyn, the bride’s sisters, Misses June Lloyd, Ann Price, Georgina Crossman, Mary Hargreaves, Gillian Barclay, and Christina Streit (field.
