VISIT TO NAPIER
Minister Of Defence And Lord Strabolgi
Dominion Special Service. NAPIER, January 13. Lord Strabolgi, accompanied by the Minister of Defence, Mr. Jones, the managing director of Union Airways, Mr. N. S. Falla, and the manager of Union Airwayci*. Air. F. Alaurice. Clarke, arrived at Napier in a Union Airways plane this afternoon. The party was welcomed on arrival by the mayor, Mr. T. W. Hercoek, who is also chairman of the Napier Airport Board, the members of which wore also present, and the chairman of the Napier Harbour Board, Mr. T. M. Geddis. During a brief stay Mr. Jones had a talk with Mr. Hercock and members of the airport board about improved facilities at the Napier aerodrome.
The party left later by plane for Gisborne.
