Naegeli, the leader of a. party of Australian tourists, expressed his admiration for the scenic Iwauties of Otago and Southland, when speaking nt a reception in Dunedin this week. The country down south was beautiful for framing, he said, and the profusion of flowers and trees and the mountains and streams truly earned for New Zealand the name of “God’ ; own Country.”
