FORCED’ SUBSCRIPTIONS TO REICH LOAN
LONDON, January 12.
i It Is officially reported from Berlin 'that the Reich loan issued in November has been fully subscribed. The Berlin correspondent of the ‘'Daily Telegraph” says that this is the first loan which was not over-sub-scribed within a few days of issue, and it is believed that compulsion was needed against the banks and industrialists. The loans raised in 1938 totalled. £500,000,000.
