WORLD’S FASTEST MOTOR TORPEDO-BOAT
LONDON, January 11
Designed by the British Power Boat Company, the world's fastest motor torpedo-boat, with a speed of 50 miles an hour and a range of 1000 nautical miles, was tested for the first time at Southampton today. It cost £76,0(M), and Is armed with four 18-ineh torpedo tubes, two 20mm. guns, and one 25mm. gun. The Admiralty is interested.
