WOTAN ON EASY LIST

To Be Prepared Foi* Te Aroha Racing Dominion Special Service. NEW PLYMOUTH, January 12. There was not a great deal of fast work nt New Plymouth this morning, though both the plough and the trial grass were available for galloping. On the plough Wymirdo and Mullamond sprinted three furlongs together in 38. Mullamond is making excellent progress. Mountain Fox and Te Morehu occupied 89 3-5 for three furlongs on the trial grass. The youngster finished in front, but Te Morehu was going comfortably. On the same track Red Sun and Race Camp went; smartly to cover five furlongs iu 1.24, a useful effort. R. Barlow has this pair in excellent shape for the Opunake and Egmont meetings. Clesflamor put plenty of dash into .his work when running a mile iu 1.45. The New Plymouth apprentice F. Cleaver, who won the Stratford Cup on Lickem, will again have the mount on him in the Wellington Cup. Sang Bleu has been sold by Mr. E. 11. L. Garner to Mr. F. Parker, whose colours were well known in Taranaki two seasons back when carried by Grateiul. Sang Bleu will still be trained by P. Jfarrell.

Wotan has been on the easy list since Stratford but will be taken in hand again to be prepared for Te Aroha next month. Ruling Lady and Noble Fox are both spelling. Noble Fox will not be raced again this season as he is rather small and it is hoped that he will furnish witn Nereus, who has been purchased for New Plymouth, will not start on the first day at Trentham.
