CHARGE OF BREAKING AND ENTERING
Labourer Remanded “Accused was arrested late last night and I would ask for a remand to give us an opportunity of making further inquiries,” said Detective-Sergeant P. Doyle in the Magistrates’ Court. Wellington, yesterday, when John Collinson Martin, labourer, aged 27, was charged with breaking and entering the eounting-house of the Fletcher Construction Co., Ltd., I Cable Street, and stealing 8/-. I Martin was remanded by Mr. J. H. I Luxford, S.M., to appear in Wellington I again on January 18. The offence was alleged to have been committed on January 10.
