Hospital Board Discussion By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, December 15. A proposal made by Mrs. W. Ross at to-night’s meeting of the Otago Hospital Board that the board should forward a remit to the Hospital Boards Association Conference authorizing proceeds from State lotteries to be allocated to hospitals throughout New Zealand met with a mixed reception and the remit was withdrawn. The chairman, Mr. Dove, said he did not think the remit should go forward. It was a matter that hardly lay within the province of the hospital boards.
