FEATHERSTON GARDEN FETE
The Fehtherston Guides will hold a garden ’fete in aid of camp equipment this afternoon at Longwood, Featherston. The fete will be opened by Airs. P. Fraser, wife of the Alinister of Education. There will be a free entertainment, a camp gadget display, stalls, sideshows aud tea. The gates will be open at 2 p.m.
Miss E. E. Stephens, principal of the Palmerston North Girls’ High School, will spend the Christmas holidays on a camping tour in the north. Aliss Beatrice Ashley Jones, Wei lington, is leaving by the Tasman today accompanied by her aunt, Airs. G. Allen, Auckland, for a trip to Australia and the Alalay States.
