Collected

A total of £305/14/4 was collected during the Red Gros's Society’s Our Day Appeal, held in Wellingtoii on Thursday. On ibeha-lf of -the society, the chairman in charge of the appeal, Mr. F. 8. Pope, extends thanks to the general public for its encouraging support, and specially to those who helped with the collection. He also wishes to thank proprietors of ■Wellington hotels and restaurants for providing -helpers with luncheon, motor dims for .placing at the society's disposal suitably-decorated trucks and motor-cars, which carried representatives of the Red Cross Voluntary Aid Detachment iu uniform.
