WORKERS RESUME
Strikes End In Northern France
PARIS, December 8. The strikes have ended in northern France.
Thirty thousand Valenciennes metal workers and Lille textile workers have resumed.
Conditions in Le Havre are expected to be normal in a few days.
The maritime strike cost. £22,000.
