ITALY’S DEFENCE EXPENDITURE
An Additional £14,000,000
ROME. December 8. An additional £14,000,000 is to be devoted Io defence. The War Ministry is to receive £556.000 for the partial mobilization of tlie army in I lie September crisis, and £56.000 for expenses in connexion with tlie war in China. The Ministry of Marine gets £411,100 for the construction and reconstruction of warships, and the Air Ministry £166.700 for new construction.
It is revealed that the decree for the partial mobilization came into force on September 26.
