MILITARY CAMPS

Dates For Central District

The annual camp dates for units in the Central Military District for 1039 have been arranged. Ten of the 15 camps will be held at Waiouru, and the others will be held at Fort Dorset, Marton, Waverley and Napier or Bulls. The following units will hold their camps at Waiouru on the dates mentioned: First, Wellington, February 4 to February 11; Fifth Field Battery, February 4 to February 11; Second Composite Infantry Battalion, February IS to February 25; Sixth Field Battery, February 11 to February 18; Second Field Company, New Zealand Engineers, February 18 to February 25; Eighth Field Battery (Palmerston North), February 18 to February 25; Central Depot, New Zealand Corps Signallers, March 4 to March IT; Second Field Ambulance, March 4 to March 11; Seventeenth Medical Battery, February 25 to March 4; Nineteenth Medical Battery, March 4 to March 11.

Tlie Fifteenth Heavy Battery (Coast Defence) will hold its camp at Fort Dorset from January 28 to February 7; B Squadron, Fourth Mounted Rifles Regiment (motorized), at Marton from May 20 to Maj’ 30; Second Composite Mounted Rifles Regiment, at Waverley, from May 20 to May 30; Army Service Corps, at. Marton, from March 18 to March 25; and tlie Twenty-Second Anti-Aircraft Battery, at Napier, Bulls, or Waverley, from March 11 to March 18.
