MASSED BANDS’ PARADE
Tomorrow afternoon at the Basin Reserve, AA’ellington a massed bands’ display will be held under the auspices of the city council. This will be on a more elaborate scale than the fixtures of last summer which attracted large numbers of the public. A splendid programme of massed music has been arranged and various evolutions will be performed. In addition, each band will play its own selected march in the following order: Artillery. Municipal 'Tramways, First Bat tnlion the AA'eilington Regiment I City of AA’eJlington’s Own). Port Nicholson Silver. Institute Silver. Legion of Frontiersmen, I Squadron. The pipe bands will give a combined display. Should unfavourable weather make postponement necessary, four flags will be flown at Mt. A'ictoria signal station from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. tomorrow.
