German Press Expresses Complete Sympathy

LONDON, December 9.
Completely sympathizing with the Italian claims to Tunis and Corcisa and expressing indignation at the ‘'French excesses against well-known Italian feelings,” the German newspapers simultaneously condemn as hypocrisy Mr. MacDonald’s cononies announcement.
The attitude of the German Press has enabled Signor Gayda in the “Gioruale d’ Italia” to scoff at the ‘‘silly prophecies of German coolness toward Italy,” adding that, like those German rights which must yet be realized, the Italian rights are wellfounded and essential. Italian life, lie says, will tie inflexibly guarded and partially assisted by Italian and German solidarity.
