Jersey silk, which is now being used for some of the smartest frocks, is so fine and close in the weave that it stands tailoring wonderfully. It 15 a beautiful material which hangs perfectly.' A .Mary Black model frock of jersey.as built with a redingote influence.' A rather warm beige has the bodice split down the front to show a brown vest, and the skirt with - two pleats down the front opens over a brown inset. Round the waist is a wide corsClette section of brown edged top and bottom with narrow, bands of the beige, which tie in smart little tailored bows, It is a beautiful frock in perfect taste. Another Mary Black model is also of jersey—an ensemble this time of dark brown. The frock lias a top of yellow and brown paisley with a short saSh and a beautifully cut bolero completes the ensemble. Quite different is an afternoon frock of sapphire blue crepe. It shows the new all-round plealed skirt with the bodice composed entirely of squares of tucking set in diagonally..
