FRESH OUTBREAK OF MEASLES
Anxiety In Waipukurau Dominion Special Service. WAIPUKURAU, December S. Both children aud adults are suffering from a recurrence of the measles epidemic in Waipukurau. Hollowing the recent. serious epidemic, when school rolls were reduced by more than two-thirds and business staffs were seriously depleted, this latest outbreak is occasioning some anxiety. A form of gastric influenza is also prevalent in Central Hawke's Bay.
Numbers of children are away from both the primary and -secondary selmols at Waiptikuiau with measles, ttn’d a large number of adults in the town are confined to their beds. Several eases of children having contracted measles three times in the past few mouths have been reported.
