Glenogil covered half a mile in 50 1-5. She has done well of late and should win some races on the West Coast circuit. Sovereign Lady strode over seven furlongs in 1.32 1-5. Defaulter and Lofty went over the same ground in 1.33. Meta! Bird was always in front of Lady Rosette and Bit o’ Blue throughout seven furlongs in 1.31 1-5, and Dividend and Spartaii took 1.31. Willie Win Over Seven. The best over this distance was credited to Willie Win, who recorded 1.29 4-5, the last four in 51 2-5. Argentic again went well in holding off Kilrobe at the end of seven furlongs in 1.30 2-5, the last four in 53 3-5. Jewish Lad gave Plumage and Grampian a big advantage starting a sevenfurlong task, and finished in front of them ill 1.34. Manetho and Sir Rosenor ran the same distance in 1.33.
