Darrieux To Work Again With Famous Director
ANATOLE LITVAK had been engaged to direct Danielle Darrieux in “Rio.” The starting date of the .French star’s second American production was to depend upon her arrival in America, after her visit to France upon the completion of “The Rage of Paris.” Litvak directed Darrieux ami Charles Boyer in “Mayerling,” the French production that was responsible for Universal’s engaging her. He also did “The Woman 1 Love” for R.K.O. ami "Tovarich” for Warner Brothers. No casting has been done yet for "Rio." which will be produced by Joe Pasternak.
