Veidt In Columbia's Second British Picture
PRODUCTION has started at Alexander Korda’s Denham Studios of the second Columbia British quota picture, “The Spy in Black,” with Conrad Veidt as star. Vivian Leigh, who has been Conrad Veidt’s partner formerly, plays the feminine lead in the picture, which is directed by Michael Powell. The play is by Roland Tertwee. Columbia’s first British quota picture, “Q-Planes,” has now been completed.
