Combined Choral Recital A iiieiuorable performance in Wellington's musical annals will be that of Handel's immortal masterpiece "The Messiah.” to be given in the Town Hall tomorrow evening by the combined Wellington and Auckland choral societies, with chorus anil orchestra numbering 450 performers and a notable cast of soloists under the direction of Air. C. Muston. Auckland, who will net as guest conductor. Last evening the Royal M ellmgton Choral chorus rehearsed the oratorio under Air. Muston’s direction. A rehearsal for orchestra and soloists, will take place tonight al 7.39. The soloists engaged artall will known for their solid work nn<l are as follows: Miss Myra Sawyer, soprano: Miss Molly Atkinson, contralto: Mr. Joseph Battersby, tenor: Mr. Russell .1. Laurenson, baritone.
