Ninety major works, including new schools, additions to schools, teachers’ residences, assembly halls and dental clinics have been authorized b.v the Education Department and are yet. to be begun in the Auckland. Education Board district. One of the largest works is the replacement. of the secondary department of the Morrinsville High School, and other important additions to the educational facilities of the large district controlled by the board are new schools to replace the present Alouut Eden. Newton West, Alouut Albert ami Hamilton West Schools.
