QUICK TRANSFER OF MAIL
« England To New Zealand In Twelve Days (Received October 19, 1.40 a.m.) SYDNEY. October 18. A fast bit of work was accomplished this afternoon when the flying-boat Corio arrived just prior to the departure of the Awatea with a ton of mail for New Zealand. It was transferred to a launch and hurriedly put aboard the outgoing Awatea. Thus it will reach the Dominion only 12 days out from London.
