Dominion Speciai Service. Mastertoil. August 10 A good entry of fat sheep, a small penning of stores, and a good .yarding of tat cattle were offered by N.Z. I tinners Coop Distrib. Company at the Mastertori sale to-day. Fat sheep were m oversupply and prices receded to the level of a fortnight ago. 'The rough weather bad a rather depressing effect on the store sheep market. Fat cattle sold readily. Prices were: — , Sheep: Kut "’ethers. 20/- tu rur maiden ewes. 22/-; x b.f. 2-tooths, 24/-; fat ewes, 16/1 to 18.'-; w.f. wether lambs, Cattle: Fat heifers, £6/10/- to £8; fat station eows, £6/17/6 to £7/10/-; tat cows, ex dairy, £4/10/- to £->/5/-: veulers, £3. Pigs: Porkers. 37/ to £2/o/-; weaner pigs. 21/6 to 23/-. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Cumpuny had a fair yarding of sheep and cattle. Prices for all stock remained at late rates. Prices were:— Sheep: Ewes. 15/- to 16/1: tat hoggets, good. 22/9: fair. 18/10 to 19/3; medium wether hoggets, 14/3 to 14/9; small. 8/6 to 10/6: b.f. hoggets, 16/3: small ewe hoggets. 14/4. Cattle: Heifer and call, tl/10--: fat Jersey cows. £4 to £5/ 1 Dnlgety and Co. offered a medium entry of sheep. Au a I tractive pen of U-ycar ewes offered on account of D. Maeßne. “Glenshiel,” made 30/1. Other prices were :— \ . Sheep: Heavy fat ewes, tb/b; light tat ewes. 14/-; 6-year ewes, r.w. S.D. ram, 30/1 ; medium b.f. hoggets, 13/1 to 13/9: cull m.a. ewes, r.w.
