POWER FAILURE
Small Area Affected For Short Period
Trouble with a transformer resulted in the supply of electric power for a email area in Lower Hutt being off for a short period on Saturday morning. It was stated at the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board office that the transformer, which fed the domestic supply are:i, gave trouble .early in the morning, and the board switched in other substations to feed the section affected. The necessary repairs were effected before noon on Saturday.
