Advice liars 'been received froni the Royal Air Force of the promotion of Squadron Leader G. S. Hodson, A.I'.C., an exchange officer from England, to the rank of wing commander. Thin was announced yesterday by the Minister of Defence, Hon. F. Jones. Wing Commander Hodson arrived in New Zealand several mouths ago on exchange with Wing Commander Findlay, who was at the time Officer Commanding the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Wigram. He was posted to the command of the Flying Training School, Wigram, in succession to Squadron Leader E. G. Olson, who was transferred to the command of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Base, Hobsonvillc.
