MIRAMAR ESPERANTO SOCIETY
Cgi'i-espondenco from Esperantists in 'Hungary; Borneo and Japan, was received at a recent meeting of the -Miramar Esperaiilo Society. The secretary, Mr. J. E? Wells, also displayed a number of brochures in Esperanto which had been received from Czechoslovakia.
The feature ol' the evening was the 'visit of several members of the Hutt Valley Esperanto Club, who were welcomed by the president, Mr. B. Potts. Miss Marv Stirling, secretary of the Hutt club, speaking iu Esperanto, apologised for the unavoidable absence of their president and congratulated the Miramar Esperantists on their progress. Several combined classes were formed ■and tuition was given till 9 p.m. After supper a special programme of sketched was presented. At the conclusion, Mr. J. Hamilton, v, ice-president of the Hutt club, thanked tbe Miramar society for their lms]>ita!i(y and expressed the hope that bis flub would b<- able to pay them another visit in the near future.
