HUTT WEDDING

Anderson —Brearley The wedding was solemnised recently at the British Israel Assembly Hall, Lower Hutt, of Rita Dorothy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Brearley, and Gordon Charles, son" of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Palmerston North. Mr. W. E. Wilson officiated. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a gown of ■cream lace with a full-length train, lowcut neck trimmed with pleated tulle, and a cream net veil with embossed corners, which was held in place with a nalo of orange-blossom. Her shoes were of white satin, and she carried a sheath of cream flowers and maidenhair fern.,,Mrs. W. Haynes was the matron-of-honour, and the bridesmaids were Misses Irpia Cavaye and Ilona Sargisson. They wore froeks of lemon, green and mauve taffetas repectiyely, made with velvet flowered collars; bodices buttoned from the neck to the waist, and split skirts with frilled underskirts. They wore velvet juliet caps and carried bouquets to match their frocks, and maidenhair fern. Mr. K. Anderson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and the groomsmen were Messrs. H. Brearly, brother of the bride, and H. W ; Haynes. A reception was held at the Horticultural Hall. Mr.'and Mrs. Brearley received the guests, the latter wearing a tailored suit of rust-coloured tweed with brown hat and accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy blue tailored suit with navy blue hat and accessories to tone.

For the wedding tour Mrs. G. C. Anderson wore a green tailored suit, brown fur, and matching hat and accessories.
