Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Well, let my last prayer be that they remain for ever happy.” That note, in the handwriting of Alfred Frederick Voice, aged 31, was found on a table in the dining-room of his home in Mount Roskill on Wednesday, June 15. In another room Voice's body was found, and in the room was also a motor-cycle. The door and window of the room were closed and oil fumes could be smelled.

At the inquest Wilfred Subritxky said he lived next door to Voice, whom he had known for 18 months. Before Julie 15 he had not seen Voice fol- a week. On June 15 someone called on witness and asked if he had seen Voice about. They went to Voice's house and entered by the back door, which was not locked.
