ANNUAL MEETING
Apollo Women's Club
The annual meeting of the Apollo Women's Club held recently took the form of a social evening. A number of new members were welcomed. Officers were elected as follows: — President, Mrs. W. H. P. Waishe; secretary, Mrs. H. W. Tiekner; treasurer, Miss E. Couehman; executive committee, Mrs. J. Caldwell, Mrs. Poynton, Mrs. P. B. Richards, Mrs. W. M. Sunley, Mrs. C. E. "White and Miss Calvert; decoration committee, Mrs. G. W. T. Calvert, Mrs. J. 0. Montgomery and Miss Ching. The retiring treasurer. Miss Hannah Wilson, wap presented With a floral tribute in appreciation of her services.
Vocal duets were given by Mesdames Dunn and Jackson, and songs by Mesdames Blake, Dunn, Hendra and Jackson. Tlie accompanists were Mrs. Collins and Miss D. Robson. Humorous elocutionery items were rendered by Mrs. Waishe and Miss Shirley King, and Miss Dorothy Robson played two pianoforte solos. Supper was served by Mesdames Temple "White, "Waishe and Tiekner.
