The High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, Mr. W. J. Jordan, and Mrs. Jordan gave a reception at the Mayfair Hotel to 400 people to-day. (chiefly visiting New Zealanders), including Mrs. Neville Chamberlain. The Prime Minister was detained at rhe House of Commons at the last minute. The permanent heads of the Dominions Office and the Colonial Office, High Commissioners, and Agents-General were also present.
