Hastings, July 7. A contribution of £lOOO from Mr. R. Mathews, Tikokino, has brought the flood relief fund of the mayor of Hastings, Mr. G. A. Maddisou, to well over £2OOO A cheque for £598/10/11 from the Masterton Borough Council and one for £27/1/6 from the Argyle East flood relief committee, with further small donations. Ims brought the fund of the mayor of 1 ;. Mr. T. W. Ilercock, to a total of £2273/11/5.
