WINDOWS BROKEN AT DOMINION MUSEUM

Two windows on the ground floor of the Dominion Museum building. Buckle Street. Wellington, appear to have been battered in with a heavy object on Tuesday night, and nine others were broken by stones being thrown at them. One stone thrown through an upper window narrowly missed a showcase. Had it bit the ease damage amounting to about £l2O might have been done and valuable objects destroyed or broken. The damage on the ground floor was done to storeroom windows. Evidently no attempt was made to enter the building.
