He believes they are New Guinea and Polynesian skulls which were intended for him when he was studying medicine at the university r.nd was collecting skulls. His father and uncle owned the store in which they were found. A message published yesterday stated that a grim discovery was made in a Grafton bond stove in Kent. Street, Sydney, when a zinc-lined case containing 100 human skulls was uncovered by tue manager and employees during a cleanup of the store. The case had lain in the store for over 30 years awaiting a claimant, but no record of its ownership or method of arrival can be traced. All the skulls, which are believed to be those of Pacific Islanders, arc in a good state of preservation, especially the teeth, which in all cases are yearly perfect.
