New Department Proposed At Victoria College PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION A new department, of public administration, is to be instituted at Victoria University College, Wellington. The principal of the college, Professor T. A. Hunter, in his report to last night’s meeting of the college council, recommended that the council set up a committee with power to advertise for a professor in the new department as soon as possible, the salary offered to be £lOOO, New Zealand currency. Professor Hunter stated that he had written to England for information and that the Government had agreed to the policy of instituting the department.
The principal’s recommendation was agreed to.
