Si I verstream's Sad Loss It is with great regret that the Silverstream Women’s Institute has to announce the® passing of one of its most valued members, Mrs. ChapmanTaylor, w’hose sudden death was a great shock to all who knew her. In addition to being treasurer, Mrs. Chap-man-Taylor took a great interest in the dramatic and arts and crafts circle of the institute, and it was her design for the 3937 institute Christmas card which was chosen from entries from all institutes throughout New Zealand. Prior to the funeral at Akatarawa, a service was held in St. John’s Church, . Trentham, which was well attended by institute members, who took this opportunity of paying their last respects to Mfrs. Chapman-Taylor by forming a Guard of Honour at the church.
