Jenkin Awarded Decision Over Adams By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, April 4. In a boxing contest in the Town Hall to-night. Stan Jenkin, New Zealand welterweight champion (Oamaru) gained a decision over Les Adams (Ashburton). The bout was of 12 rounds, and the decision met with the disapproval of a large section of the big house. Giving away height and reach. Adams fougat close up to hie man, aud appeared to gain a margin of points in a majority of rounds.
