CONSOLIDATED FUND BILL IN COMMONS
London, March 24.
On the motion for the third reading of the Consolidated Fund Bill, the Prime Minister, Mr. Chamberlain, stated that it was Intended to treat the division as a vote of confidence, but the Opposition did not challenge the division, whereupon there were loud cheers from the Ministerial benches. Anti-climax came when three people in the gallery stood up and shouted “Social credit is the only, remedy.”- u
