WOMEN’S CRICKET
Junior Representative Match To-day The first 'Wellington junior representative women’s cricket team to play an outside association will play Palmerston North to-day at Prince of Wales Park. No. 1 ground, beginning at 1 p.m. On No. 2 wicket a game between umpires and the 'Wellington executive will be played, beginning at 1.30 p.m. The Wellington junior team will be as follows: —M. Smith (Aitkens), captain, J. Dixon (Lever Bros.), vice-cap-tain, G. Pilcher (Hannahs), P. Marshall (Hannahs), A. Saunders (Aitkens). B. Eames (Wellington College Old Girls), M. Rowntree (Lever Bros.), M. White (Hannahs), M. Beere (Aitkens). P. Murdoch (Wellington College Old Girls), R. Dumbleton (Kilbirnie), J. Oxley ('Wellington College Old Girls). The Palmerston North team will be captained by J. Christian, with the rest of the players as follows; —I. Christian, G. Heath. L. McKenzie, B. Hickin, L. Dalton, D. Kingsbeer, A. Gardner, C. Millar, J. Gallagher, D. Jeffree.
