£750 FOR PLUNKET SOCIETY
Auckland Street Appeal By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, March 25. The sum of £750 was collected as the result of a street appeal by the Auckland branch of the Blanket Society. The response exceeded last year’s by £l5O and was stated to be the best for. about 10 years. Donations included £l7 in pennies and an anonymous gift of £lO, in addition to a £25 contribution by the Mount Eden Borough Council.
