RARE SWORDFISH LANDED
Caught By Accident In Hawke’s Bay By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, March 24. A broad-billed swordfish weighing more than 450 pounds and of a species seldom seen in New Zealand waters was caught in Hawke’s Bay to-day by Mr. AV. Olsen, a member of the crew of a Napier fishing vessel. The swordfish met its fate by accident when its tail became entangled in a heavy fishing line.
