ACCIDENTS YESTERDAY

At the Railway Workshops, Lower Hutt, yesterday morning Mr. F. Wileocks, springniaker, SO Victoria Street. I’etoue, was injured when a number of steel plates fell on him. He was taken to hospital with a fracture of the left leg mid lacerated wounds to the leg. Slight concussion was received by a wharf labourer, Mr. 11. P. Mann. 37 Wright Street, when be was struck by a crane hook while working on tlie whip Waimea at King’s Wharf, Wellington, last evening. He was taken to hospital. When a motor-ear struck a light standard on the safety zone in front of the Wellington railway station last night a passenger, Mr. AV. 11. Horton, Taihape, received cuts on Hie face from Hie broken windscreen glass.
