Motor-Cyclist In Collision

Severe injuries were received in a motor collision in Aro Street, Wellington, last night by a motor-cyclist, Mr Leslie J Bryant, gasfitter, 38 Mortimer Terrace. Mr. Bryant was riding a light-powered motor-cycle down Aro Street toward the city about 6.45 p.m. when a collision occurred with a motor-ear which was about to turn into Adams Terrace. Mr. Bryant received a fracture of the base of the skull, a compound fracture of the right arm, a severe wound to the right leg and abrasions to the hands. He was taken by the Free Ambulance to the "Wellington Hospital, where an. operation was performed. His condition is serious.
