Invercargill, March 24. zk reduction of 40 per cent, in the Southland wool cheque for this season compared with last is revealed iu figures issued to-day by the Invercargill Woolbrokers’ Association, the respective totals being £583,282 and £958,705. Average prices at the two sales were 9.78 d. a pound and £l2/17/9 a bale. Last year’s figures were 16.3 d. and £2l/6/3 respectively.
