THE “London Cinema” writes of X the latest Jessie Matthews picture, ‘‘Sailing Along,” as especially rich in accepted' ingredients of musicals—in music, song, dance, comedy and romance. It is more than usually notable in that it introduces new and attractive facets of Jessie Matthews’s art. We have long known her as a pleasant songstress and expert dancer, but here she vividly reveals a personality and a talent in romantic comedy which her previous films have lacked the opportunities for her to reveal.
