The fruit and vegetable market in Wellington remains brisk. Potatoes are ah showing signs of blight and are not filmin'' to any extent. Tomatoes are still plentiful and in good demand, and there is an abundance of apples. Meat puces are unchanged and, apart from* eggs, grocery and provision prices are steady. There is a shortage of A-grade eggs, and these are now selling at 2/3.a dozen, grade are 1/10, and pullet eggs are 1/5 a dozen.
