MISSING VISCOUNT
May Have Been Kidnapped By Franco’s Agents London, March 22. The Spanish Medical Aid Committee announces that Viscount Churchill, who is a' godson of the late Queen Victoria, is missing. He is believed to be in Spain, where he is representing the committee. Viscount Churchill was last heard of on December 27 when he wrote from Paris saying that he was going to Barcelona to take up hig duties. His silence is mystifying, as he usually wrote two or three times a week. Viscount Churchill’s mother is ill and wishes to see him. An official of the committee said that Viscount Churchill is a keen supporter of the Republicans. It is feared that he may have been kidnapped by General Franco's agents and taken to insurgent Spain as his life has been threatened several times.
