Possibility Of Labour • Ticket Dominion Special Service. Mastertan, March 22. Although no official statement has been made it is understood that a ticket is bein" arranged for Labour candidates to contest the Masterton Borough Council elections in May. “The Dominion has been informed that Mr. L. J. Taj lor, chairman of the Wairarapa Secondary Education Board, is to be asked to contest the mayoralty. For some months past it has been freely rumoured that Cr A. Rippon would be the Labour candidate for the mayoralty, but it now. appears that if Cr. Rippon stands he will do. so as an Independent.
